Crunch week for Arsenal: Watford tonight, Napoli on Thursday

Two really big games for Arsenal.

Napoli on Thursday night and Watford tonight.

The squad is full of experienced internationals and Arsenal’;s Premier League form is superior to that of mid-table Watford.

Arsenal have won three of their last five and lost one.

Javi Garcia’s Watford have lost three of their last five but won two and both clubs have six games left to play, so 18 points can be won or lost.

Please note: Liverpool and Chelsea only have four more league games each.

Arsenal must play better than they did at Everton last weekend.

That was a shocking performance because Emery picked the wrong team.

If Arsenal lose tonight’s game, I won’t write anything here tomorrow morning.

At this moment, I’m burned out and footballed out. That was why I did not watch the Crystal Palace-Man City game and only saw the highlights this morning.

Kevin De Bruyne, my favourite footballer, was colossal and Raheem scored two excellent goals after fluffing an early chance.

City won 3-1 at Crystal Palace and that’s not easy to do.

Having been to a lovely big party with parents and kids in Thames Ditton on Saturday night, crossing the river three times on the way there and twice on the drive back, we had a gentle start to Sunday, slowly building up to the Liverpool–Chelsea thriller.
