Cull at Colney: Primorac,Colin Lewin, all goalkeeping coaches have gone

Long needed ch-ch-changes have begun  at the Colney Creche.

Physio Colin Lewin has gone.

His cousin Gary, a wonderful physio in the Fred Street class, left years ago. Gary never said anything when he went full-time with England. But his departure from Arsenal was itself a comment on the Colney Creche culture.

Everyone who knew Gary, a real gentleman, realised he who would never say anything critical of Arsenal.

Gerry Peyton and all the goalkeeping coaches have gone.

Also Primorac and Banfield, according to The Telegraph.

I gather Steve Bould might not stay if Mikel Arteta is appointed.

Apparently some players don’t like Arteta.

In other news, Paul Merson thinks that if Real Madrid lose to Liverpool, they will go for Pochettino.

But I doubt if Real will sack Zidane this summer. President Florentino Perez is very close to Zizou.

Back in early November, when Manchester City went to Italy and beat Napoli 4-2, Spurs played their second leg at Wembley against Real Madrid.

Was about to post the above this morning when Mrs Palmer said, “Are you ready?

She always drops me at pilates.

In the cafe afterwards my mate, a retired banker, said, “My son was on the pitch at Fulham last night.”

I thought his boy was in Italy and didn’t know he was a Fulham supporter….
