Gabriel Jesus talks in Manchester while Ivan Gazidis says nothing in London

My third favourite Premier League footballer, after KDB and Dele, is Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus has signed a new five-year contract with Manchester City.

He is the kind of gifted centre forward that City would want to buy if he wasn’t already on their books.

Brazil did nothing in the World Cup but Jesus is a goalpoacher of genius and by the end of 2018-19 you might agree with me on that.

In his short career he’s already played with hundreds of footballers and in Pep’s team he’s playing with Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva,Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.

By extending his contract he’s saying: This team can do more, we can win the Champions League.

And if City did get to the Champions League Final, Jesus will dream about a great goal that would be celebrated by every fan in Brazil.

He’s a nice 21-year-old lad, not spoiled at all, as far as I can see.

His comment on the club website was, “I can say that it was the best decision I’ve made in my life to come to Manchester City because whilst I’m here I’m improving as a professional and as a person. Pep had an important role in my signing, but also the club. City is a huge club and it is getting bigger and bigger so I just want to say thanks for everything.”

I won’t talk about Arsenal today because I’m so disgusted by the Ivan Gazidis to AC Milan story.

I’m angry and bemused. How angry?

Well on a scale of 1-10, where disappointed is 1 and homicidal is 10, I’m around 8-5 on this very warm morning in North London.

And that’s not a healthy place to be.

City’s new predator Gabriel Jesus will soon score 4 goals in a game
