Gazidis/Ramsey/N’Zonzi/Kante offered 290k.More than Hazard?

AC Milan have made a formal approach for Ivan Gazidis.

Will he transfer his kids from the American School in St John’s Wood to the American School in Milan?

But why would Ivan leave Arsenal now?

Because he hates working for Stan Kroenke, an owner with no personality and no ambition to win trophies?

It is, of course, an ongoing tragedy that Arsenal’s majority shareholder is Stan Kroenke.

In other shock news, Aaron Ramsey might be sold to Chelsea to pay for the arrival of Steven N’Zonzi, of Sevilla, who has a £36 million release clause.

Another story suggests that Ramsey will be swapped for Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona.

Which begs two questions: Is Ramsey good enough to play for Barcelona? And why would Arsenal sign a winger 21-year-old winger who is being unloaded after one season ?

Chelsea best player is 27-year old Belgium captain Eden Hazard, who earns £220,000 a week.

In an exclusive story in Tuesday’s Times, Gary Jacob revealed that Chelsea have offered N’Golo Kante £290,000 a week.

Which is £15m a season. The club want Kante to sign a five-year contract..

Delighted to see that Chelsea FC now value Kante as highly as I still do:

From ANR in June 2016:

A report that Chelsea are leading the race to sign N’Golo Kante isn’t surprising.

Kante, who is Antonio Conte’s kind of warrior, could be the best player in Euro 2016. If so, bigger clubs than Chelsea will want him.

My glimpses of Kante in recent months strongly suggest that he’s become the complete midfielder. In that final day game I saw at Stamford Bridge, Kante was powerful, tidy and ubiquitous: a one-man army.

Unai Emery’s Arsenal will be more like Klopperpool and Tottenham Pochspurs
