Ivan Gazidis resigned as Arsenal’s chief executive

He said, “I’m leaving”

But the board said, “No, you’re not.”

That’s what I heard from a gooner last night.

He got the story from a bloke who knows what’s really going on.

This exciting revelation is, of course, unproven and unconfirmed.

We don’t know when this happened, or how it happened, or why.

AND WE DON’T KNOW IF IT WILL BE DENIED TODAY.

If it’s not denied, that doesn’t mean the story is true.

And if it is denied, the story could still be true.

Why do you think Ivan decided to walk? Why did he decide he’d had enough? Does he have a clause in his contract that says he can’t resign during the season? What period of notice must he work?

If  I hear more, I’ll share it.
